The ability to sign in to Windows operating system with a Microsoft account has been available since the release of Windows 8 and the feature is present in Windows 10 as well. While the Windows setup tries its best to make users use a Microsoft account to sign in, it’s possible to install and use Windows 10 with a local user account.
